Now I have joined CrossFit Shropshire and the government has said we can go into gyms and pools again (I’m counting down the days until 25th July right now!) I am so excited to be getting to go to a real gym for the first time! And go back to swimming! And doing Jr Park Run!
So what have I been doing? Well outside my schoolwork, which I do online in the mornings, I do a morning core workout, then I do PE with Joe Wicks and sometimes join mummy for lunchtime Yoga with my Aunty joining us on Facetime. Then I hit my CrossFit Shropshire workout and usually some sort of lifting workout then. We’ve not been able to do everything as mummy is usually working from home and gets in the way, so I’ve lost a bit of strength but I can get that back.
I’ve found some really fun apps that I can use to generate workouts when daddy is busy, they’re always fun and I’ve started thinking about starting a nutrition diary. I see Katrin Davidsdottir uses one and she’s one of my heroes so I might try that.
I’m looking forward to seeing my grandparents and my friends so much! I’ve had one day in school to meet my new teacher, who seems pretty nice, and now I know I will be definitely going back to school in September, so I just have to get through he summer holidays. Daddy has said he might put together a CrossFit Games style competition for me and a few friends to do against each other online which I’m really excited about!
