Well we’re still in lockdown here because my mummy is high risk, so we have to be extra careful so she doesn’t get sick.
But I’ve had some exciting news this month, I’ve been contacted by Brand X Kids Fitness in America and has a zoom meeting with their founder and the head trainer at CrossFit Shropshire who is a Brand X trainer too. Because of this I’ve been allowed to sign up to the CrossFit Shropshire and I’m getting personalised workouts sent to me everyday! It’s so cool! I really love it, I just wish they were longer.
So I’m now doing a core workout every morning, then PE with Joe Wicks, my CrossFit Shropshire workout and then usually something else as well. I’ve also been working on my flexibility, following some Gabi Fuller YouTube videos to increase my range of motion. I’m loving the flexibility I’m getting right now.
I’m sure I’ve lost a bit of strength recently, but I’ve now got a professional coach and my daddy and my mentor and PT Elishah Crutchley who I do classes with online at least 3 days a week so I’m keeping really busy.
I’ve not done any major personal bests this month, but I’ve set some best of year times in my 2km and 5km runs and got introduced to some new movements and skills which has been fun. I’m really missing school and going swimming and my friends, but my family is brilliant and we’ve got a good routine going and I’m just going to keep trying to get better and better.
I just want to end by saying Black Lives Matter.
